I suck at drawing big cats.
In light of this, today I pulled out every animal anatomy book I could and studied large cat skeletons and muscles in hopes that the mystery of their faces would slowly unravel.
They're starting to!
I couldn't get to the zoo, so I drew these from a video. That's a little better than photos, right?maybe....
I'll be going to the natural history museum tomorrow, and the zoo sometime next week to get some real life drawing done.
